I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but after checking one notification it shows no new notifications left. Would be nice just to have the one I checked be removed from the "New Notifications page.

Yep. This is so annoying. You end up trying to decide which one you want to look at, knowing the rest will disappear as soon as you click on something.

Yep, for now we have the stopgap that you can load up old notifications after they've been marked read. We're still working on making the read markings work a little better.

That said, if you click on a notification for your current group, nothing should disappear (because you won't leave the current page -- you just have to click on the notifications link and you'll see the same list). Other groups should open in their own tab, so the original tab will keep the list of unread notifications correctly. And the notifications for other groups will not be marked read unless you actually expand their container.

i don't have that problem but i guess u just need to deal with it or complain to Facebook about that
