the limit comparison test is comparing the similarities of functions in order to determine a method of convergence or whatnots
if i read you correctly
kinda ... so with this comparison test are we sposed to 'randomly' pick a function to compare it to?
from what i can recall, yes. perferablly something that is around the same shape graphically so you know that it doesnt wander to far off
like comparing sqrt(x) with ln(x)
