OpenStudy (liizzyliizz):

could the poet without loss have compared a book to coursers and poetry to a frigate? (This is for the poem, there is no frigate like a book) Im not quite sure what it is trying to ask me...

OpenStudy (carlsmith):

I think, and I'm far from certain, but I reckon it means, could a poet that hasn't experience loss ever equate a book to coursers, which I assume are hunting dogs, and poetry to a frigate. But then, that makes very little sense anyway. This is why I never liked verse.
