Okay, I REALLY need help with functions..can someone please show me (in dummy terms) how I go about solving these. I have the answers for the problems, but I do not know how the answer was retrieved. PLEASE help! f(x)=4xsquared-5x. output f(-1)..the answer is 9, but I don't know how we got 9.
