Can someone answer the attached question about Continuity for me? It seems to contradict itself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a is correct, since the limit x->-7 gives 4

myininaya (myininaya):

the first one is continuous everywhere since f(-7)=the limit as x->-7 of f(x)

OpenStudy (chaise):

a) Option two, at all x b) At all except -7 and 3.

myininaya (myininaya):

the second one is not continuous at -7 since f(-7) does not equal the limit as x->-7 of f(x)

myininaya (myininaya):

what 3?

myininaya (myininaya):

second function is continous at 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

note that is says all that apply, for question a , the 4th and last option also are true

myininaya (myininaya):

oh i see it says where function is continuous check all boxes for the second one except for x=-7

myininaya (myininaya):

what i'm saying is: the first one is continous everywhere the second one only discontinuous at x=-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've tried every answer, but none of them work. I'm being mind-raped :/

myininaya (myininaya):

did you do for the first one: B,D,F second one: A,B
