reduce the fraction by asking yourself what number divides into the numerator and denominator.
example 4/6 the common number is 2.
solution 2/3
when you type in 4/6 you should get .66666666
and when you type in 2/3 you should get .666666
You can always compare the decimal values of your fractions.
