how many faces, edges and vertices does a hexagonal pyramid have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Picture 6 triangle being put on a hexagon. A hexagon has 6 sides, so 6 faces. The edges of 6 faces + the hexagon = 12 edges. A pyramid will always have n+1 vertices, where n is the number of sides of the base. In this case it's a hexagon, so 6 + 1 =7 Faces = 6 Edges = 12 Vertices = 7
