Do you have any idea on how to use the graphing calculate to approximate the zeros of a function OR do you have any clue on using the graphing calculator on using the graphing calculator to find coordinates of the turning point of a line?

once you have your graph all set up, hit second then trace

hit y= button, then type in your function and then hit graph button

What do I do after I go to trace?

You can visit the ti website. I think it is ticares.com they should have step by step instructions to find zeros.

2nd trace zero then you have to mark off an interval (usually above the x - axis and below the x-axis) then press enter.
