when should the control variable in for loop be declared??

Most ppl would say you should declare it just before the start of the loop. In most languages you can do this in the loop statement itself.

Java: for( int x = 0; x < 10; x++) {}; Here x is declared right in the statesmen.

In while loop it is better to declared a variable just before the loop started
