if I am right, adjacent angle add up to 180 so but it also say this " find the values of x and y so that p is perpendicular to q. " which mean each of them are 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x+18 =90 x=24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-8y-70=90 y=-20
