what are the 5 things not to have in a denominator? I have no zeros, negatives, or decimals/fractions. What are the other two?

OpenStudy (phi):

roots and ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm only guessing here, but a radical maybe. And possibly a negative exponent.

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

square roots is one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, square roots...now one more. Ill try the negative exponent, but if someone else has an idea then they can post it and Ill see if that one is one or not as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any root, so you probably want to call it radicals rather than square roots.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

a negative exponent makes sense..and yes, radicals is what I meant :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha
