The Bald Eagle was nearly extinct 20 years ago with fewer than 500 nesting pairs. Recovery of the Eagle has been successful. The bald eagle population has grown at a rate of 16% for the last 20 years. Find the population of the bald eagle presently using the formula P = P0 (1.16)n where P is the population, P0 is the initial population of 500 and n is 20 years. (round to the nearest eagle).
