last one..... -(w+5)=-14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

distribute the negative sign in the parenthesis -w-5=-14 then add the 5 over to the right -w=-9 u can get rid of the negative sign by dividing by the negative 1 on both sides so u get w=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where did you get negative 9 from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-14+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

silly me! uhhhhhh but what do i do with the -w

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since there is a -1 infront of it, divide it on both sides to get w=9
