Hmm well plant cloning would result in a considerably reduced level of genetic diversity. You could attempt to pollinate different plants (ie. not attempting to pollinate clones with each other) but this can only work if a) your population isn't entirely made up of one clone and b) if the plant is still able to reproduce sexually (ie. if it is still setting seed).
