Advice please (mostly for professors and students who have taken Calc III). I'm about to start Calc III, and I'm reviewing. Is there anything I should pay special attention to while reviewing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

give up it is too hard!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

derivatives and integral rules

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Calc three meaning sequences, series, taylor series and things like that?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

different schools set up calc3 and 4 differently

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, here's the course description: vectors, curves, partial derivatives, gradient, constrained optimization, coordinate system, multiple integrals, and applications

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

For Calculus 3, knowing the core derivatives and integrals is going to be important (and always will be for calculus). You will be using these in much of the scope of this class. Calc 3 is has some overlap with previous courses but much of it will be new mathematical space for you.

I'm not from your country, so unless you tell me what topics Calculus III has, I cannot help :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes so hard but if you know the basics and patient to solve the equation i believe you can do that. you always make discussion with friends in order to understand it
