find the coordinates of any y-intercept and any x-intercept. do not graph x=-4

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what are intercepts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=-4 is straight vertical line intersecting -4 on the x-axis (-4,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would i find the y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It never intercepts with the y-axis... it's a horizontal line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertical line**

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hedgeing your bets eh :)

Well x always maps itself onto -4. It's a vertical line and intersects only the x-axis at -4. It will never intersect the y-axis. :)
