x=-4 is straight vertical line intersecting -4 on the x-axis (-4,0)
so how would i find the y-intercept
It never intercepts with the y-axis... it's a horizontal line.

Well x always maps itself onto -4. It's a vertical line and intersects only the x-axis at -4. It will never intersect the y-axis. :)
