My notifications (like "foo gave you a medal for bar!!!") pop up over and over. Also, at least on Chrome, openstudy is a resource hog.

Hm. A strange one for sure. We'll have a look. This means there's an error happening somewhere. Reloading the page should take care of it.

Re: resource hogging -- right now, that's because we don't limit the amount of questions/chat that are displayed after you log in. So what happens is, you log in, and we load the latest 20 questions and 40 chat messages. But from that point forward, you keep getting more and more as long as you don't reload the page. These accumulate and can get quite resource-consumptive.

We're working on at least lowering the number that are being displayed at any given time, which should help.

Since you're running Chrome, if you see the repeated popups again, it would be ideal if you could hit Ctrl-Shift-I (on Windows -- Cmd-Option-I on Mac) and take a screenshot of any errors you see there and post it here that would be the best thing ever :) Meantime, we'll try to reproduce it internally.
