lim as x->0, 6x/(sin5x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) is indeterminate at x = 0 so l'hopitals rule may help but f'(x) is also indeterminate on graphing it it looks like limit is 1.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you take derivative of top and bottom by L hopitals rule u get 6 / (cos 5x) 5....plugging 0 into the equation gets you 6/0 which does not exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i know - i'm not sure how to proceed with this one - except i know the answer is 6/5 - i just checked on wolframalpha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea...that might be a little advanced gauging by the question though ya know? I mean....L'Hopitals rule might be too advanced as well...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on - yes 5cos 0 = 5 so thats 6/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my math is so bad today

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont worry - mines the same - i keep on making silly mistakes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and typos galore!
