when you leave the kitchen, close the refriderator door
an operation on any elements in a set, results in the answer being of the same set
in other words, operations on elements never leave the defined set
addition is closed on the set of integers
I never took algebra 1 and now im in algebra two, so couldd you explain this in simpler terms?
