A physical barrier is anything that may impede your movement such as being physically disabled or "handicapped", whereas an example of an emotional barrier could prevent you from doing something that's right. Ex) Peers pressuring you to drink alcohol even though you know your parents would disapprove and you are under the legal drinking age. However you would be the "uncool" kid.. Basically they are emotional factors that interfere with your decision making.
