Can someone explain to me what a dependent event is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a dependent event is an event that changes when another event happens.

So which one of these would be a dependent event? 1. Selecting a pink and a brown marker at random from a box. The first marker is replaced before selecting the second marker. 2. A child selecting identical stickers at random from a bag if he chooses the sticker, changes his mind, then replaces it before choosing again. 3. Selecting two face cards from a standard deck of cards if they are selected at random, one right after the other, with no replacement. 4. Rolling a 5 and a 6 on a standard die with two sequential rolls to reach the shortcut on a board game.
