each derivative tells you about the slope at the point of the one before it
OpenStudy (amistre64):
a would indicate a negative slope on the left of one of the others; and they aint got no negative slope there so id assume a is the f
OpenStudy (amistre64):
and it changes to negative about the time b goes under the x; so id say b is f'
