autotrophs (which are plants) are the only organisms that produce it's own food through photosynthesis :)

Thats a good point, autotrophs produce their own food, this distinction is important because not just plants are autotrophs, algae are too :)

ohhh...yea i know algae make it's own food but i thought it was plants too...i never knew that it was a protist...
