how do you solve 2x- 2x/7 = x/2 + 17/2 ? (the slashes mean over)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the entire equation on both sides of the equal sign by the LCD least common denominator to get rid of the fractions for this one the LCD is 14

14((2x-2)/7) = 14(x/2) +14(17/2)
