does anybody know the python version used during this classes, I have a much newer one and some changes are getting on the way of me following the professors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe you use Pyhon 3.0+ . But the class in 2.7 I think. They are a bit different.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I downloaded version 2.7 and I have no problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The version used by the course is 2.5.4. I am using 2.6 and doing fine. Just be sure you're not using Python 3.0, because some changes in that release are not compatible with earlier versions.

personally i like 3 better but when following a course or tutorials like that class, use 2.6 or 2.7. dont use 3 because as fra said, some of the changes are not compatible with earlier versions like the print () and like xrange/range.
