OpenStudy (lalaly):

first 10^4 then 5*2 then divide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 4000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to divide the 5 first, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

before multiplying the 2?

OpenStudy (lalaly):

Parantheses > exponents> multiplication>division so multiply 2*5 then divide

OpenStudy (lalaly):

the answer is 1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if its in what ever order, so lets say if its 2/10*2, wouldnt i have to divide first, the 2/10=5 and then times it by 2 which is 10? am i Right.. so for the question above, would it be 4000, becasue 10^4 is 10000 and then divide by 5 which is 2000 and then times 2 which is 4000.. I hope i am right, really need help, just curious.
