Fun Fact #30: Meet the robber crab, other wise known as the Palm thief of coconut crab. So guess what's special about this crab? It eats coconuts (okay, probably not that surprising given the name) but holy-cow, its huge! Its the largest land-living arthropod in the world and it has giant claws for opening coconuts (and carrying them), if you have ever tried to eat a coconut before you would know that coconuts are really hard to open (last time I tried I had to use an axe). It also has a large pair of walking legs that allow these crabs to climb vertical or overhanging surfaces.
