I just wanted to know how to evaluate it.

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally This is how I remember order of operation. Parentheses, Exponent, multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction. 3(7)^2 can also be written 3*7^2 so first thing to do here is exponents: 7^2=49 our equation is now 3*49 now multiply and our final answer is: 147
