Acceleration is Velocity/Time or Distance/Time/Time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Acceleration is when you're velocity is changing. If things are speeding up or slowing down, you have an acceleration. Also, if there is a non-zero net force in your problem, there is also an acceleration.
