Solve: (x+3)(x+2) > 0 A) (-2,3) B) (-∞,-3) U (2,∞) C) (-2,∞) D) (-∞,-2) U (3, ∞)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+3)*(x+2) > 0 means that x + 3 > 0 and x+2> 0 OR x+3<0 and x+2 < 0. So either x>-2 or x<-3 that means it is (-INF, -3) U (-2, INF) and none of the answers is right.

Ah wait, the x+3 is supposed to be negative, my bad. (x-3)
