Please explain why wolfram said that the answer is 2/9? I'll draw it. d(◣‿◢)b

|dw:1316060437449:dw| I have to find the reciprocal. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that thing equals 27/8 , reciprocal should be 8/27 :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First convert to an improper fraction, so 3 3/8 becomes 27/8. Now flip it around and you get 8/27. I don't know where 2/9 came from unless it was taking a cube root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?!?! :O Sorry wrong answer I got 27/8.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why is the 8 the numerator? O___O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reciprocal is when you swap the denominator and numerator. In other words, it is what you would multiply the original fraction by to get an answer of 1.
