suppose that f(x)=lnx for all positive x and g(x)= 9-x^2 for all real x. the domain of f(g(x)) is a. x<=3 b. abs(x) <= 3 c. abs(x)>3 d. abs(x)<3 e. 0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it says ln(x) has to be greater than 0 right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what makes g(x) = 3?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

.... i mean what makes it = 0 lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

9-x^2 > 0 9 > x^2 +-sqrt(9) > x +- 3 > x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as long as the absolute value of x is greater than 3, you should be good then
