can't figure this one out: (3x+1)/(2x)+(7/3)=4 I think I would multiply both sides by LCD which I *think* is 6x, but it comes out with a crazy stupid number in the end.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, you're right; multiply through by 6x: 3(3x+1)+14x=24X 9x+3+14x=24x 3=x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh, my number did not resemble that at all. I need to go through and see where I screwed up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh duh I think I left the x hanging on. That would do it.
