1.) Check is the action verb in this sentence.
2.) Extradited is a linking verb; it links the time the prisoner is being extradited to the prisoner.
3.) Called is a linking verb. The first part of the sentence links to the second part of the sentence to show why the class is hated.

Note: Not all action verbs are actually action verbs. Action verbs can also be linking verbs and vice versa.
