Mr. Ernie and Mr. Bert fix TV sets. Mr. Ernie averages 12 television sets per day while Mr. Bert averages 16 television sets per day. If Mr. Ernie charges per TV set 1 1/2 times as much as Mr. Bert who earns $7, 200 per month, how much is Mr. Ernie's monthly earnings?

mr. bert = 16 x 30 = 480 tv sets per month mr. ernie = 12 x 30 = 360 tv sets per month 7,200/480 = 15 per set for mr. bert 15 x 1.5 = 22.5 per set for mr. ernie 22.5 x 360 = 8100 monthly earnings of mr. ernie :-)
