How can I tell which lectures correlate to which assignments? I wish the assignments would say something like,"begin me after lecture thus and such."

Well, the calendar page on the course website shows which assignments were handed out at which lectures. But don't get hung up on the timeline. That's the beauty of taking the class on-line- you can go at your own pace. I didn't feel like I could start PS1 until after the fourth lecture. But after that, the assignments got easier.

If you download the course content, included are .htm links to the webpages of the class.

Yeah, I feel comfortable taking on ps 1 after lecture 3. Calender helps, I was feeling lost there for a moment.
