I think this is best answered by a chart. There is math involved but I am assuming that's it's complicated and involves a lot of ratios about the human body that most people wouldn't know off the top of their head. I did however find a nice chart that might help! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_alcohol_content Here's the math that you have to do after reading the chart: First you must note that for every 40 minutes of drinking, you subtract .01 from BAC. So, since you are asking for BAC after 1 hour, we will need to subtract .015. So the BAC content we are looking for should be .095 since: .095-.015=.08 Now, looking at the chart, the closest number to .095 for a 100-lb person is 3 drinks. So, that would be my answer. I would also list a source on your homework because then if you are wrong your professor can at least see where you got your info and possibly give you some credit or at least explain why you were wrong.
