OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want by step by step , i have to explain there saso

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

tbh idk but my teacher once asked us to find the cube root of -16 and we couldn't find it, the calculator returned us the value "math error", he then told us that the calculator can't find the answer because it is a stupid machine, but in reality, the answer was 4i . i then presumed that the roots of negative numbers are just the roots of their positive values with an i in front of them. I wouldn't personally be able to tell you how in a step by step manner... try googling "how to find the cube roots of negative numbers" you should find some help. I'll do that too right now :)

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

ummm i meant he asked us to find the square root lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok , sasogreek i wanted the cube root of the given number by prime factorization i know how to but just conforming as it would be too much long

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

what is the actual answer then? cos i honestly don't know lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the actual answer is the same as u r getting 231 but i need to check my process
