Is there any disadvantage of creating multiple tables instead when the same task can be achieved using a single table for a social networking application???

too much data in a single table might reduce performance.

Because of the larger number of users accessing the data when a database is used, the enterprise may involve additional risks as compared to a conventional data processing system in the following areas.

2.Data quality.
3.Data integrity.
4.Enterprise vulnerability may be higher.
5.The cost of using DBMS.
but at the end of the day i would say relational database are best
