I NEED HELP WITH find an equation for a line with slope -2/3 that contains point (6,-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-(2/3)x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u sure its correct how did you get that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-2/3x+b then you substitute -6,1 into the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since (-2/3) is the slope, it will go with x 6 is the x value, so plug that in for x and u get -4 -4+3=-1
