what are types of diabetes
Type one: Which is controlled genetically and develop since childhood, and requires insulin injections Type two: Is where it is "kinda" genetically, develop after 40 usually, and could be controlled by lifestyle
Actually, we've seen a rise of type 2 diabetes in children and adolescents due to childhood obesity. Type 1 Diabetes is caused by insulin deficiency due to a destruction of insulin-producing pancreatic beta cells. It most commonly presents in childhood but one-fourth of cases are diagnosed in adults. In contrast, Type 2 Diabetes is caused by insulin resistance and impairment in insulin secretion. Some patients have varying degrees of insulin deficiency as well. It is closely related to obesity.
