For the first term the power of 3 applies to everything in the brackets, 3 amd X, therfore it actually means 3^3 * X^3 which means 9X^3
If you apply that method to each term and then collect any like terms you will have simplified the question
opps silly me 3^3 is 27 not 9
its says (3 x to the 3 power ) (2y to the 3 power)- (4x to the 2nd power)(5xy to the 3 power
