10=x √ -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops.. i mean \[10=\sqrt{x}-2\]

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\[\sqrt{x}= 12\]taking square on both sides will give you: x = 144

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i dont understand where the 10 comes from... the square root you just listed is different from the one i listed.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\[\sqrt{x}=10+2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh i get it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer would be 144? or would it be 3.47?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
