Maybe you could talk about the different components found in a cell generally (their structure and function). Then talk about the differences between Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. You could include examples on different types of cells (animal, plants, etc.)

the main thing, in my opinion is specialization - both at the cellular levels - different specialized cell for different tasks (rather than a "jack of all trades by master of none). use extreme cases such as a sperm (think what is special with it), neuron - looong axons, action potential for delivering information "packets". insulin secreting beta cells - glucose sensing blah blah.
then, go on and discuss organ specialization - it is more than the sum of its cells most times, with interaction with multiple cell types.
