I am a Physician's Assistant Student and I am currently taking a Medical Microbiology class. I am having no trouble remembering the bacterial of the diseases that they cause, however, I am having trouble keeping the signs and symptoms (S&S) of those diseases straight. Does anyone have any advice on how to study S&S effectively? Is there some sort of additional text that you would recommend?

Use mnemonics.  There are plenty of them out there for medical disorders.  

Also, I like to use flashcards when studying.
