Write the height h of the rectangle as a function of x where (a, b) = (8, 2)

Well, what's the value of y on the graph at x? it's y=x^(1/3); that's the 'bottom' of the rectangle. The top is y = b. So the vertical side has length b - x^(1/3), hence if the horizontal length is delta x, the area of the rectangle is\[\Delta x (b- \sqrt[3]{x})\]

i figured it out its 2-x^(1/3)
