Please factorize this trinomial & explain 12x^2+11x+2

OpenStudy (precal):

ok here is an old jedi trick I learn a long time ago...... Take the 12 and multiply it to the 2. rewrite it as: \[x^2+11x+24\] \[(x+3)(x+8)\] we need to put the 12 back in so we divide it since we remove it by multiplication \[(x+3/12)(x+8/12)\] reduce fractions \[(x+1/4)(x+2/3)\] \[(4x+1)(3x+2)\] you can check yourself by multiplying it together using FOIL.
