how do you convert 7.5 cm to mm and m ...? i mean the setting up the problem and everything please help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'centi' means one-hundreth. 'milli' means one-thousandth. This means that to go from centimetres to metres, you must divide by 100. To go from millimetres to metres, divide by 1000. You can go the opposite way: to go from metres to centimetres, multiply by 100; to go from metres to millimetres, multiply by 1000.

OpenStudy (preetha):

mm = 7.5 cm x 100mm/1cm m = 7.5 cm x 1m / 100 cm
