I guess an example would be an advertisement for hair colouring. The advertisement said, "trendy beautiful hair colours for your natural hair tone", but the visuals where all of blonde women highlighting their hair a colour that ranged from blonde to bleach blonde. How about other hair colours, like chocolate brown for black hair? The consequences where that I ended up feeling like a bright blonde was the only hair colour that was trendy/beautiful.
