Do people need to know Biology in order to be a Gynecologist?

Im in medschool and ive seen that subject, in order to be one, or to even understand the phisiology of how the body really works youll need at least, basic knowlegde of celular biology

You need to be a doctor to be a gynecologist and to be a doctor. To get into med school you need to have a background in biology and some chemistry. So yes, you have to know bio to be a gynecologist.

1. To become a gynecologist, you must be a doctor
2. To be a doctor, you must go through medical school
3. To get into medical school, you must have at least 1 year of biology as a part of your pre-medical requirements

So, yes you need to have taken biology but you don't need to major in it in order to become a physician.
